The Rotary Clubs of Windsor and Essex County met at the Ciaciaro Club to hear the CEO of Windsor Regional Hospital David Musyj, CEO of Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare Janice Kaffer and Dave Cooke, Co-chair, Program and Services Steering Committee update us on the progress of the mega-hospital.
They provided us with a history of the idea of a single regional hospital and the many reasons this area needs a new hospital, not the least of which is the age of the buildings; some of the oldest in the province. They took us through the stages of the process and where it currently stands.
David Musyj encouraged us to keep advocating for the new hospital with our MPPs, because this project is in competition for other hospitals in the province. Our advantage to getting a new hospital is the widespread community support.
